Stéphane Bérard

Over the past twenty years, at the crossroads of literature, performance, film, and poetry, not forgetting music, Stéphane Bérard has produced six feature films, four albums, four books, a host of performances and joint projects, and ten solo shows. Prototypes, drafts and sketches take up much of this corpus, where invention represents a manner of critical intervention. He is represented by the Eva Meyer gallery, Paris. His recent publications include L’Enfer de Dante Alighieri (complete translation, Al Dante, 2008) and Charles de Gaulle. Mémoires d’espoir: le renouveau 1958-1962 (Questions Théoriques, 2011).
