The painter Nagham Hodaifa, a graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Damascus, submitted an art history dissertation at Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne University on “L’œuvre de Marwan de 1964 à nos jours : le visage en question et l’œuvre sur papier” in 2015. After several solo shows in Syria and France, she broadened her activities to include live spectacle and the links between painting, music, and dance, producing, for example, the pieces Laqlaq l’atelier (2008) and Tympan (2009).
