Monia Abdallah is an art historian. After obtaining her PhD at the École des hautes études en science sociales, she undertook research at Toronto Universty and at the Royal Ontario Museum in Canada. She has published several articles, in particular in the book Cannibalismes disciplinaires. Quand l’histoire de l’art et l’anthropologie se rencontrent, edited by Thierry Dufrêne and Anne-Christine Taylor (Paris, musée du quai Branly / Institut national d’histoire de l’art, 2009).
