The film-maker and theoretician Erik Bullot has made many films halfway between the artist’s film and experimental cinema. He has in particular published Renversements 2 (Paris, Paris Expérimental, 2013) and Sortir du cinéma. Histoire virtuelle des relations de l’art et du cinéma (Geneva, MAMCO, 2013). He was guest professor at New York University in Buffalo from 2009 to 2011. He teaches film at the École nationale supérieure d’art in Bourges and heads the post-graduate programme ‘Document et art contemporain’ at the Poitiers-Angoulême École européenne supérieure de l’image.
