The architect Vartivar Jaklian lives and works in Vence, southern France, and Beirut. A founding member of ‘Latcol’, an international architectural, planning and design agency, he has won several architecture prizes, in particular in Sicily (Terrazze, 2004) and at Erevan in Armenia (Agrobiz, 2008). This latter project was presented in 2009, at the Chamber of Commerce in Venice, as an urban planning model based on sustainable development.
